At INEX, architecture is not just about sheltering; it is about framing life. Our firm operates at the boundaries of interior and exterior, innovation and execution.
WHY WE BUILD
We started INEX with a single conviction: that most buildings are decided in the drawings nobody publishes. The junction, the reveal, the way a handrail meets a wall — these are the moments a person actually touches, and they are almost always the first thing value-engineered away.
So we work in the opposite order. We begin with the unseen moments and let the facade follow. It makes our process slower and our arguments longer, and it is the reason our clients come back.
We believe in the brutal honesty of materials. We believe a plan should be legible without a legend. And we believe that a building finished is only halfway done — the rest is the decades it spends being lived in.
FOUR PRINCIPLES
Material Honesty
Concrete should look like concrete. We refuse finishes that disguise how a thing was made, because a building that lies about its construction ages badly in every sense.
Light First
Before walls, before program, we study the sun. Light is the only material we cannot order, so every plan is drawn around where it falls and how long it stays.
The Long View
Our spaces are designed to age, evolve, and breathe alongside their inhabitants. We detail for the twentieth year of a building, not the photograph taken in its first.
Boundaries Blurred
We work at the seam between interior and exterior, innovation and execution. The threshold is where architecture is decided, so we spend most of our time there.
